Jesus Movie Night for Individuals with Special Needs
Individuals with special needs and their families/guardians/caregivers are invited to join us for a special movie night at Leesburg Church of the Nazarene on August 27, 2022 (optional pizza @ 6:00 p.m., movie at 6:30 p.m.)! We’ll be watching Sight & Sound’s Jesus movie which is a little over 2 hours long. You may view the video trailer here and PluggedIn’s review of the production here.

- Although parents/guardians/caregivers are welcome to watch the movie, we will have a separate respite room available for them to relax.
- We will also have a quiet room available for if a guest becomes overstimulated or needs a break. A parent/guardian/caregiver must accompany them to the quiet room.
- Some of our helpers know ASL.
- We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom available across the hall from the movie room.
- The movie has subtitles in English.
- Service dogs are welcome.
- During the movie, the following snacks (and possibly more) will be available: lightly salted popcorn (no milk), popcorn with milk, pretzels, chips, and fruit
- As for beverages, we will have water bottles (which we can help open and/or pour into cups if necessary) and 100% natural fruit juice.
- This is a nut-free zone!
